Cashmere and Yak Fingerless Mittens Kit

A fantastic project for the beginner - these fingerless mittens use knit and purl stitch in straight forward combinations.

Light as air but extremely warm, these fingerless mittens have a long cuff to keep wrists and arms warm.

The kit includes:

• the printed pattern
• a pair of 4.5mm (UK 7/US 7) responsibly sourced wooden knitting needles
• two 25g balls of Cashmere and Yak luxury blend (choose colour from options shown below)

Skills that will be practised: cast on, moss stitch, stocking stitch (knit one row, purl one row), increase by knitting into front and back of one stitch, cast off.

IMPORTANT: because of the fibres and spin, this yarn requires gentle handling, if you have a tight, sharp knitting style then sorry but this is not the yarn for you
