A charming baby blanket knitted in traditional squares which are joined together in strips to form the blanket. The edging is knitted on after assembly. You can choose to knit the heart or star motif (or even a mixture of the two). The basic colours of the knitted samples shown are Buttermilk and Drift; you choose the colour for the motif.

- intarsia charts for the heart and star motif
- a pair of 4mm (UK8/US 6) responsibly sourced knitting needles
Skills that will be practised: cast on, knit, purl, intarsia colourwork, picking up stitches, cast off, flat seaming.
Measures approximately 55 x 70cm (approx. 21½ x 27½in).
