The locker hooking needle has a hook at one end and an eye at the other and is used to create a rug, wall-hanging, carpet or bag. The hook pulls strips of fabric or yarn through a rug canvas or hessian and a yarn is threaded through the loops created at the back to lock all the loops into place.
